Description: It's easy to tell a provider to have a risk-benefit conversation about medications in pregnancy and lactation - but how easy is it to actually do? In this presentation, we will evaluate two topics - ADHD and smoking cessation - and apply them to pregnancy and lactation.

Speaker: Christy Pratt, PharmD, BCPS, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Primary Care, Kaiser Permanente Colorado
Objectives: Upon proper completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Describe current medication used in ADHD.
- Compare the risks and benefits of ADHD medication in pregnancy and lactation.
- List the potential concerns of vaping during pregnancy and lactation.
- Review smoking cessation options for pregnancy and lactation.
