Now Open! Call for Nominations: Board of Directors

Today, we are announcing that the Colorado Pharmacists Society Board of Directors nominations process is now open, and we are seeking nominations for candidates to stand for election to the Board. This is an anonymous process and self-nominations are welcome.

Member engagement is critical to the success of the society, and the Board relies upon your recommendations for strong candidates. Nominations from all practice settings are encouraged!

The Colorado Pharmacists Society Officers and Board Directors are elected by the active members of the society. The chairpersons of the six academies represent their respective academies.

Nominations must be received by 5:00pm, Monday, January 13, 2020.

 CPS Helping To End Hunger Locally!  

Pharm to Tables is a charitable organization uniting pharmacy professionals in a singular, focused mission of helping end the hunger crisis of our local communities. Pharm to Tables works as a hub for donations specifically geared towards the hunger crisis in the local community. All online donations made at www.pharmtotables.org (less the paypal fees) will go to the designated meal program or food pantry designated in the “instructions to the seller” section on the donation page. 

CPS is pleased to announce that Project Angel Heart has been designated as recipient of all donated food items and monetary donations. Project Angel Heart is a nonprofit organization that improves health and well-being for people with life threatening illnesses by preparing and deliverying medically tailored meals and promoting the power of food as medicine.  

Cereal donations can be brought to the 2020 CPS Winter Meeting, and monetary donations can be made anytime. If not attending the Winter Meeting and you still want to donate cereral, you can drop it off at Project Angel Heart in Denver (4950 Washinton St, Denver 303-830-0202) or in Colorado Springs (1625 W Uintah Street, Suite 1 719-323-0084). Monetary donations can be made through www.pharmtotables.org, click on “Donate” button, enter amount, click donate, then click “Add special instructions to the seller” and then indicate “Project Angel Heart” .  

Regis and CU students!!! You can help through friendly competition! From December 11 through January 3, 2020, the top individual donors from each school will received a free meeting registration for the CPS Winter Meeting!
