Colorado Pharmacy Coalition: 2021 Meetings Announced

The focus of the 2021 CPC will be the Pharmacy Practice Act Sunset Legislation. Pharmacy entities will be submitting a bill to expand scope of practice among other changes to current pharmacy law. This will be an ideal time to discuss strategies, and collaborate on getting the legislation passed as a collective effort. Additional meeting time can be used to discuss other Pharmacy and Healthcare legislation.

CPS Offers Technician Immunization Administration Training!

With the COVID vaccine(s) imminently on the horizon, and influenza vaccination well under way, the Colorado Pharmacists Society is very pleased to help Colorado pharmacies prepare and expand services by offering pharmacy technician immunization administration training. Technician vaccine administration is legal NOW in Colorado and this training is available NOW as well.

2020 CPS Virtual Annual Meeting: Earn 7 Hours of CE!


We realize that everyone could not make it to the Annual Meeting. The nice thing about virtual is it’s flexibility! We are pleased to be able to offer you up to 7 hours of CE from our recent 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting. You can select ala carte, as each CE is offered individually. We hope you will take advantage! The CEs can be done anytime, anywhere. The details of the speakers, topics and pricing is found below.

Continuing Education Information and CPS Offerings

The State of Colorado requires each pharmacist to complete 24 hours of ACPE approved continuing education every two years. The Colorado Pharmacists Society offers regularly scheduled, ACPE approved, Continuing Education programs including hour long evening programs, the Annual Meeting and Exhibition and the Annual Winter Continuing Education Seminar.

  • 30 hours of continuing education per year
  • Two annual meetings per year, providing 10-15 hours of ACPE approved CE per meeting
  • Evening CE programs providing 1 – 2 hours of ACPE approved C.E. per event
  • CPS/School of Pharmacy Program C.E. Program providing 6 hours of ACPE approved CE
