She has been an active member of the Colorado Pharmacists Society, serving in various capacities, including as a Member-at-Large and Chair of the Winter Meeting Planning Committee, and is passionate about advancing the role of pharmacists in patient care, policy, and education.  Members at Large

Kari Allan
Dr. Kari Allan is a proud pediatric pharmacist and a passionate pharmacy advocate! She graduated with her PharmD degree from Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Glendale, Arizona after getting her start in pharmacy as a technician, and later technician supervisor. She completed a PGY1 acute care pharmacy residency and a PGY2 pediatric pharmacy residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she later stayed on as a clinical specialist in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, liver transplant, and nutrition support. In 2022, she made the move to Denver, Colorado and to the Colorado Pharmacists Society. Since that time, she has served as Chair-elect, Chair, and Immediate-past Chair of the Academy of New Practitioners, and has worked closely with the membership and communications committees on projects such as the recent CPD webinar, student needs surveys, and overall member engagement. Her work with pharmacy associations has also included extensive volunteer leadership with the American Pharmacists Society. She has served on the Transitions editorial advisory board, as Chair of the New Practitioner Communications Standing Committee, Member-at-Large of the New Practitioner executive committee, Member-at-Large of the APhA-APPM (Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management) Executive Committee, as an APPM delegate in the House of Delegates, and as Chair of both the APPM Awards Standing Committee and Fellows Selection Subcommittee. Additionally, Dr. Allan has also expanded her pediatric pharmacy practice with Roundup River Ranch, a free camp for kiddos with medical complexities that may preclude them from participation in other summer camps, as a pharmacist representative on the Medical Advisory Committee and camp volunteer. She is grateful for the opportunity to run for the CPS Board of Directors and to continue to serve our amazing pharmacy colleagues in the state of Colorado!
Ali Singer

Ali Singer is a dedicated pharmacist with a passion for advancing the pharmacy profession and improving healthcare outcomes for Coloradans. With 10 years of experience in hospital pharmacy, Ali has developed a strong foundation in both patient care and community outreach. In addition to her clinical practice, she has been actively involved in the Academy of Health-System Pharmacists and is a steadfast advocate for legislative initiatives that promote the advancement of pharmacy practice in Colorado. As the Western Slope CPS Ambassador, Ali works diligently to amplify the voice of rural Colorado pharmacy, ensuring that those who wish to be engaged have an accessible platform for involvement. Ali has served on the CPS Board of Directors twice—first from 2022-2023 and again in 2024-2025—as the AHP Chair, where she became well-versed in Board processes and advocated for increased involvement from rural areas of Colorado’s pharmacy community. As a Member at Large on the Board of Directors, Ali is committed to fostering collaboration among pharmacy professionals and empowering pharmacists to take a leading role in the ever-evolving healthcare landscape. In her spare time, Ali enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, whether hunting, fishing, hiking, running on the trails, or competing in triathlons. She would be both honored and grateful to serve on the Board as a Member at Large.

The new Board Members will be inducted on Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Awards and Board of Directors Installation Dinner at the CPS 2025 Annual Meeting - The WILD Life of Pharmacy. Please come and join us!
